Design &
Development
Process
Here is our process for developing custom eLearning modules.

1. Send us content, brand guidelines & photos
computer Content for the module (this is usually a PowerPoint file or script).
Logo files (vector files are preferred).
Brand guidelines (outlining how your logo can be used, colour codes, etc.).
Photos (we can source stock images if you don’t have the appropriate photos available).

2. Voiceover script
We will use the content you have provided (usually a PowerPoint presentation or a script) and add it
to our voiceover script template.
We will make minor adjustments such as:
• Adding interactivity cues (i.e. “Select the buttons below to...”)
• Fixing obvious grammar or spelling errors
• Combining content slides if appropriate

3. Finalising the voiceover script & recording.
email Voiceover script will be sent to you (the client) for
approval via email.
person In this email, we will ask you to select which voiceover artist you would like for your module.
It’s over to you to make any changes. We don’t need you to track the changes, just send us back the final, approved file.
Once the voiceover script is approved and the voiceover artist has been selected, we will send the
script to the voiceover artist for recording.

4. Developing the
module & preview link
Once we have received the voiceover files from the voiceover artist, we will develop your module using the authoring tool you selected (Storyline or Rise).
Once developed, we will send you a preview link to view the first draft of the module which will look something like this...

5. Two rounds of alterations.
We can make two rounds of alterations to your module. Ensure all applicable parties review the module thoroughly. It is best if you let us know the bulk of the changes in the first round. The second round should consist of final touch ups.
To make changes, visit the review link provided. On the right hand side there is a “Comments” box. If you pause the module and type in the box, it will capture exactly the point where you want the change. If you have any images you want changed, please upload the new image into that box.

Other Helpful Guidelines
Quiz Questions
Our default method for setting up quiz questions is that the learner has unlimited chances to retry the question and can’t progress forward until they choose the correct choice.
Navigation
Our default method for navigating through the module is to use “begin”, “next” and “back” buttons. We can turn on a side navigation that includes the title of each screen if you wish, please advise us if you would like this option.
